Services Paula Hallman earned a degree in fashion merchandising, and has worked as an artist since 1988. In the 1980s and 90s, Paula created one-of-a-kind fantasy dolls with her brother under the name Hallman-Lehnig. Their dolls were displayed and sold in countless shows, galleries, and shops, from San Diego, California, to upstate New York, including the Enchanted Room, the Beverly Hills Doll Show, Doreen Berry’s, the Hollywood Doll Museum, and Disneyland’s Teddy Bear and Doll Classic 1993.
Hallman-Lehnig was also featured in Contemporary Doll Magazine , Dolls , and Doll Reader .
In the late 1990s, Paula moved from San Diego to Granbury, Texas, and began painting whimsical furniture. She soon opened a store which featured her unique painted and handcrafted items, and began selling her art at shows and festivals.
From 2004 to 2009, Paula worked for a Texas-based company, creating mascot characters for universities, professional sports teams, and national corporations.
In 2009, Paula relocated to Shreveport, Louisiana, where she truly found her muse and began painting full-time.
Paula now resides in San Antonio, Texas.
